Bed and Breakfast Program

Bacyard and porchWestminster Presbyterian Church combines hospitality and missions through its Bed and Breakfast program. Church volunteers host guests, and all donations received through the program are contributed to charitable organizations that request assistance. The Bed & Breakfast program offers a comfortable and welcoming stay in support of worthy causes like: Wayne County Hospice, Viola Startzman Free Clinic, Every Woman’s House, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Church World Service, and Presbyterian Welcome.

Westminster Bed and Breakfast can accommodate a variety of groups, ranging from single individuals to families with children. Pets can be accommodated in certain homes. Participating houses are located within a thirty minute driving distance from the College of Wooster, some within walking distance. A variety of settings are available, both in rural Wayne and Holmes Counties and the city of Wooster.

Westminster Presbyterian Church suggests a donation of $50 per night for any B&B stay.

Rooms are available year-round. The program is especially active during College of Wooster events such as Alumni Weekend, Commencement, Family Weekend, and Homecoming Weekend.

Westminster accepts electronic donations through the Presbyterian Mission Exchange

  • Feb 7 Choir Rehearsal
Many of our choir membership see their participation in choir as stewardship of their talents and time and find friendship and fellowship among choir members.
  • Feb 7 Worship
Today we will worship around tables and after Pastor Dries shares his meditation we will engage in conversation and join in a simple lunch of soup and bread. After worship we will convene for the Annual Meeting of the Congregation. The Souper Bowl of Caring collection will also be taken.
  • Feb 7 Fellowship following Worship
Westminster’s fellowship following worship is an important time in building relationships between members of our community of faith. It creates the opportunity for worshipers (new and familiar) to get to know each other on a more personal level.
