As we grieve for the lives of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, we also grieve for the senseless execution of five police officers in Dallas, TX. As a church we denounce violence and renew our own efforts to eradicate the cause of these deplorable deaths, which is racism. Now is the time for us as a community to stand together and eradicate racism and systemic oppression in our nation by starting in our own community of Wooster, OH.
