Through your presence you can make a huge impact in our struggle for acceptance at the Wayne County Fair, September 9-14, 2017. For many in our community, the appearance of KKK flyers and recruiting poster in Wooster was a realization that our community is no exception when it comes to white supremacy and the presence of hate groups. Since 2015, after the Charleston church shooting, the Wooster/Orrville NAACP has petitioned the Wayne County Fair Board to prohibit the display and sale of the Confederate Flag to no avail. This year our efforts continue, and you can be a meaningful part of this movement by signing up to volunteer at our booth. Make a difference now and sign up here for at least one two-hour shift.
